There is so much information out there waiting for you to learn! Podcasts are one of my all time favorite media form. No matter what you are interested in, you can probably find a podcast on that subject. Business podcasts are especially in great abundance! If you are an entrepreneur, I don’t think there is a better resource you could tap into, than podcasts to grow your business.
Listening to podcasts is like having a mini-business convention or seminar in your living room or car! They are often rich with practical information that can be applied to your life or business right away. Not only are there many tips out there, but business podcasts can be very motivating and teach success principles
Here are some of the podcasts that I highly recommend if you want to grow your business. Although all of these are not specifically business podcasts, I’ve compiled this list because I think entrepreneurs can still get some AWESOME advice from them!
The Best Business Podcasts
I’ve been listening to the Goal Digger Podcast by Marketing Guru, Jenna Kutcher, for several months. This is hands down one of the most valuable podcasts to grow your business. She is constantly providing both business and marketing tips and interviews with leaders in their industries. I always learn so much from the stories of the guests she has on her show and Jenna’s own life stories. She does a great job of providing a friendly, conversational program that is packed with value each episode. You do not want to miss this podcast if you are serious about growing your business. Because she has so many different guests with varied careers and businesses, there is always something I can take away and apply. And she loves mac and cheese so she’s relatable too, right?
If you can’t listen or need to reference something from an episode, she also provides her show notes here.
Julie Solomon is one of my favorite business podcasters. Is it weird to say I like listening to the tone of her voice? She is so poised and sounds elegant to me. You are going to learn something to grow your business in every episode of this podcast. She formats it in two different way, influencer interviews that are longer episode, approximately 45-60 minutes, and shorter tips and tricks that are about 7-15 minutes long. So weather you have 10 minutes or an hour, you can always be learning something by listening to this podcast. She has a lot of tips that are geared toward those in the instagram and social media fields, but also dives into PR, marketing, and pitching yourself to potential brands. So much good stuff!
Rachel Hollis! You have probably seen her book, Girl, Wash Your Face! wherever you like to shop for books. And let me tell you, there is so much truth and knowledge and experience in her book. But we are not here to talk about her book right now! While this podcast is not necessarily business focused as far as tips on how to grow your business, you will absolutely gain so much knowledge on mindset from this podcast. Rachel also has an interview style podcast, but hers are very conversational and focus on the stories of her guests. She also offered a few shorter videos, and they really help grow your mindset.
Wow. I have binge-listened to this podcast. It is so incredibly good. Although it is not always business related, although she does touch on that, it is amazing information that you can apply to your life and business. Brook Castillo walks you through mindset changing topics. Most episodes run for around 20 to 30 minutes so they are perfect for a commute to work to get your head in the right space.
Jessica Honegger is the founder of Noonday Collection, so she knows business! And she also knows what it is like to be scared out of your mind, but still move forward with your ideas. Listen to Jessica’s Podcast, Going Scared, if you need some encouragement and inspiration on how to take the step of faith into the unknown. She also uses an interview style format and it is so wonderful to hear from many different people on what they accomplished while “going scared.” It is really inspiring to take action on the things you’ve been wanting to do!
Christy has honest talk and relevant tips. She was employed by Dave Ramsey before branching off with her own company, so I definitely trust her advice on business management! She has an awesome format where she will give her own insights on a topic, then interview a guest. I love that it is fast moving, and all very business related. There are practical tips every time. At the end of an episode, she answers a reader question. I learn something new in every episode.
Of course there are soooo many more business podcasts out there! These are just a few of my favorites that I love. They are informative and entertaining. What podcasts are you crazy about? Let me know if you listen to these or any others!
